Thank you to the PTA Board, Mr. Taylor, our teachers and staff, all the parents and families, and the wonderful people that made pledges to our awesome Pioneer runners today! Each and every student should be so proud of what they accomplished. They ran their hearts out! This event could not have been the success it was without you all! As of earlier today, we had raised $18,200!
A special THANK YOU to our sponsors for today's event- Cinema Cafe Movie Theaters, Dawn Mitchell for Edward Jones Investing, and Accel Pest and Termite Control.

WATCH D.O.G.S. is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations in the country. In 1998, the very first WATCH D.O.G.S. program launched at Gene George Elementary in Springdale, AR. Today, more than 6,450 schools across the country have launched a WATCH D.O.G.S. program of their own. Each school year hundreds of thousands of fathers and father-figures make a positive impact on millions of children by volunteering millions of hours in their local schools through this amazing one-of-a-kind program.
Makerspace
Through Makerspace students are developing a growth mindset that encourages them to believe that they can learn to do anything. The growth mindset process steps include:
1. Asking/identifying the problem
2. Imagining/Brainstorming solutions
3. Planning/Designing what's needed for the solution
4. Creating/Testing the project
5. Reflecting/Improving the design and project!
